Boot key lock change

So I picked up a vR wing on a boot on my ever expanding quest to make my GPX more version R-ey than a Version R. Actual boot removal seems pretty straightforward, but any tips on how to go about the key lock? I'm assuming to get the key piece out, one just needs to get off the latch piece that has the three bolts in it? Are the latch and the key piece connected?

Once that's out then theres a big square circlip on the back of the key lock which you can remove with a flat blade screwdriver by prying it and then the key barrel will come out the front

Nah, still took 5 minutes.

Cheers bruh, yeah I can see the circlip and how the key just moves that piece over, hooray for simple things lol
