Yes, I know it sounds stupid, but I've got a line on a non Mivec manual & a Mivec auto.
The non Mivec doesn't need much to make it a reasonable car, which I'd like to swap the auto into to onsell it and recoup some money. I'd put the manual onto the Mivec for a project car.
Seen tips on how do auto-manual swap by connecting a few wires & then leave the auto TCU unplugged, but I'm guessing to do the other way would require swapping looms, clusters, gearshifter, brake pedal, ...
Would this be correct?

I don't see why not. You will just need to follow a manual conversion guide and just do everything backwards.

FYI though you will make more money selling it off in parts most likely. Not to mention the saved time and effort.

It's easier mechanical wise but good luck with the wiring, unlike the manual conversion you'll need the whole loom transferred as you need the auto ecu

Yeah that sounds like a whole lot of headache for very little gain.

Yeah, I kind of figured it'd be a whole loom change.
How difficult is it to find a manual gearbox on it's own? And ditto the LSD?
The decision may come down more to marital bliss than money. Getting a car in & out quicker rather than sitting around stripping for parts. Got a few too many cars around here that aren't finished
