Just wondering if anyone has one and does it really work and make the job easier?

I don't know how that would work.
The only special tool you need is a cut out deep 10mm socket to clear the cam lobes and a set of feeler gauges.

But I've tried the book way a few times (on different FTO's) and they still end up sounding crap making me think i'm just not good with feeler gauges - or not doing it right.Vectose wrote:I don't know how that would work.

A mechanic adjusted my tappets and they went fairly quiet.
There is ticking but I am pretty sure it is the injectors.
Is there a place to get the special Mitsubishi tool?

Last I checked it was $300 from amayama.
You can easily make your own by grinding out the side of a deep 10mm socket.

I have to admit I have the Mitsi tool, but it is considerably cheaper to make yourself.

So how is the grinded 10mm socket kept in place to avoid spinning?

You grind some flat spots at the top for a spanner.
