EOI - Supercharger installation kits - now have good boost

Supercharger intake - we've been working on the design of this for ages (Tarkus and I) and now finally put an order in for it to be made, hope it's right!
Should come out looking something like this, standard colour is white and other colours will be available for a small additional cost, I've gone for blue.


Also placed an order for an adapter that I designed. It's for the top of the brake master cylinder so that we can use a remote reservoir (standard reservoir definitely needs moving).
The kit for this (if anyone is interested) will have a billet reservoir mounted on the firewall with a short hose (from HEL Performance, with AN fittings) going to this adapter on the master cylinder, it won't have the low fluid sensor though.
This will be an additional option for people, they could just do it their own way and probably save a few dollars like I've already done with crappy push on barbs, some epdm or Teflon lined hose going to the stock reservoir somewhere other than the master cylinder. But I think this is a much better solution and I will be using it on my car.

First charge cooler is almost done.


The gaskets to go between the flanges that I've had made have arrived and now just waiting for a tap so I can tap my adapter for the Intake Air Temp sensor and fit it.
Then taking it down to the fabricators again for the inlet to be made - it goes on the opposite side to the intake runners (and that's the last bit to get made).

Supercharger mounting brackets - done, been on the car for a while.
Double alt pulley (supercharger drive pulley) - done and again been on the car for a while.
Pulley bracket is done and test fit is ok although I've made a change to the design for the next one, mine should be fine though as I've tweaked it manually.
Supercharger intake is done.
The Supercharger outlet is in the process of being made and should be done in the next few days and then shipped to me along with the Supercharger intake and a couple of other bits (remote brake reservoir adapter, sc to pulley bracket hangar/brace).

I need to buy a couple of off-the-shelf bits though as I loaned mine to my Son:- wideband afr sensor and gauge, boomslang plug-and-play harness for the emanage.

When I've got everything I will set aside some time on a weekend and fit it, anyones guess as to how long it will take but I reckon I will be up and running within a day unless I've forgotten a part and can't get one locally/quickly. Could be in as little as a couple of hours if there are no dramas (I already have a couple of parts fitted)

The last of my main parts have arrived into Perth, now awaiting customs clearance, these are:
Supercharger intake
Supercharger Outlet
Pulley bracket brace
Brake cylinder adapter

Pretty impressed with DHL, they only shipped on Tuesday from the US, will probably take a week to get them up to me now though.

I'll get the charge cooler finished next week.
My HEL hose has shipped (within Australia) for the remote brake reservoir.
Then just waiting for the boomslang harness for the emanage to arrive.

Man that blue really pops! Amazing to see it materialised after being a bunch of data on a PC. How heavy are they? They look quite light.

Gotta admit polishing something with that many grooves looks like it'd be a nightmare.

Thanks mate, i'm really please with them and that blue is cool.
Yeah had a rethink about polishing and screw that I will just give it a clean I think, not as if it's cutlery.

They are quite light but sturdy, the intake is almost 1/2 kilo weighing in at 400g and 5mm thick minimum, some bits a little thicker.
I might beef up the design of the outlet slightly though as although this is fine for me i'm just thinking I want it a bit tougher for anyone who's a bit ham-fisted.

A couple of small changes but nothing that will make me throw these ones away as they are good enough.
I'm going to look into making the outlet a little thicker, it will mean more material and therefore more cost but hopefully not much, might change one of the ports on the inlet to be 3/8 npt as currently one is 3/8 npt and the other is 3/8 bsp - just to standardise.

Hoping that it all fits and that none of the parts need junking, should find out this weekend when/if I test fit.
Don't have everything to do a proper fit and drive it yet but i'm hoping that I will be able to next weekend.
