Alignment out.

Time to see how cheap those plastic-like poly bushes really are. still need that weak bracket redone but wanted them popped in for the moment so I can flog off the RPF1s. As usual, eternal gratitude to #TimKnottMotorsports

Really makes me think how damn good the RPF1s look in comparison though. Eighteeeens down the track, though. Hilariously they will be lighter than these stockies. :cyclopsani:

18s will be annoying, for the limited time I had them I almost wrinkled my face into a permanent cringe.

For what reason though? I drove on the Advans Zach put on for a while and they weren't a great deal more disagreeable than any other wheel/tyre combo I've run on an FTO.

The front wheel arch seam problem, shallow rear wells won't allow for much travel with decent tyre profile

The front arch seam was cut out and re welded by my dad when I had it and he has 40plus years experience as a fitter tuner by trade. So the front was sorted rear well just need the right tyres, camber and toe settings [GRINNING FACE WITH SMILING EYES].
But yeah I never had any issues with the rear

These wells have already had the seam taken care of, and if it's still an issue there's always the offset castor bush (which it has as well). The only scrub I noticed with the 235/40R18 Advans was it clipping the actual fender edge at the top of the tyre, same with the RPF1s. I'll wanna be going wide 18s though, so it might yet be an issue. meh, that's for future Billy-Jack to worry about.

The guys that scrape the crap out of the car don't tell you that they do because they don't want to sound like tards.

Good luck on your journey lol

Just roll the guards and you should be right. I won't say it didn't scrape just took like a pot hole to make this happen [GRINNING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]

Yeah guards definitely needed rolling when I put the RPF1s on. Might get them flared when I do the rest of the body and paint.

Good news everybody. Evo 5 LCAs and hubs confirmed FTO compatible by #TimKnottMotorsports. With standard bushes in the Evo arms it brings the wheel forward slightly in the arch, but nothing problematic.

So thus far:
New DBA rotors ✓
EBC redstuffs ✓
Timken hub assemblies ✓
New balljoints ✓
Brembo reco kit bought ✓

Waiting/to do:
Get repainted calipers back
New end fittings made
Calipers reco'd
Arms bushed
Whack the mofos in
Much needed alignment

Yeah, this one is actually for an auto, hence those little bronze twiggy things down the bottom. Doesn't make a difference for me since they won't be connected anyway.

$253. I think shipping was free, but they also had to send me one from their NZ warehouse as the one they thought they had in stock in Aus wasn't there.
