If you're super serious about it, you'd rip the dash out and inspect the wiring loom to see what you have and what you're missing.

It's not a big deal really, but yea,, I will pop the dash out and will have a look whats what for myself when my vR comes back from the garage & while I have both cars to play around with. It's not the end of the world if I dont have the manual control. probably won't end up doing something too drastic, especially when electrical wires are involved.

You shouldn't have to wire anything up, surely its just swap the boxes behind the dash and then swap the dash over to gpx

Swap the dash over too? Negative.. I have passenger air bag on the gpx.

Actually, i've done it,
You need everything to do it. Complete a/c system from under the dash with interior loom to suit. It will plug and play.
