Re: THE LORAX
I'd recommend using a Nexus 7 2013 tablet in the dash.

Re: THE LORAX
Just get a nice double din unit then.
We know of all the nice cars on here. That was one of Dwayne's cars so we all know it.

Nah, get a tablet, gives you all the features of a head unit + more. Is also more responsive and cheaper. Got my Nexus 7 for $120 off Gumtree.Daniel2019 wrote:Just get a nice double din unit then.

Tablet also looks better than a head unit.

Yeah we all love Dwayne (dstocks) 'cause he's our parts guy and all round helpful bloke. I bought my first FTO off him also back in 2013. He's also produced the best body kit pieces available for the FTO, though he hasn't make a straight facelift yet, you can get one of his Facelift Factory Ts bars which is based on it. It is lower overall though, so can make getting over steep inclines a bit tricky.
Otherwise stock facelift bars pop up occasionally, but not very often. There is a mob that make them, but I don't know if anyone has ever purchased one from them to see if they're quality or not.

I somehow don't think a lower front bar will be an issue, I'm already so low I scraped when I was pulled onto the flatbed Lol
What do his factory TS bars look like ?

And here's the Prefacelift TS. Which is moulded to suit the prefacelift indicator/foglight combo so you don't have to source the facelift ones.
But yeah, from memory I think Dwayne said they're about 12-14cms lower than a standard facelift bar. They're also fibreglass, so they do crack if you smack them on something. Best looking bars for the FTO though, and the fit is superb because they've moulded off a stock bar.

Re: THE LORAX
Yep, Have an alternator and can get a prefacelift or facelift TS Factory made if you want. It will end up lower than the stock bar though and there will be a small wait as I have a couple in the queue atm.

I put LEDs in the footwells. You can only see them from the inside and it comes with a switch ofc. Whether or not you should get it is entirely up to you. Personally I like it because it brightens up the interior of the car at night. I'm going to do the same to my Evo.
