Im trying to take of the centre brake light cover cause the light isnt working. But I cant seem to get it off, theres what seems to be a screw, but its plastic and i easily stripped it, now im not sure its even a screw... how do i get it off?
It's a screw but you need to put some pressure behind it with a plastic trim removal tool, unless you wanna jam a flat tip in there and scratch it all up

yeah its not working as planned, trying to push something behind it to create pressure like you said, cant get anything to fit. gonna buy a cheap plastic trim removal kit off ebay, since its 45 dollars at the shops...
Actually, that one is a screw, but its not the part that is normally used there. With the genuine clip, the centre pushes in, releasing the cover.Whoever owned the car before you lost that and replaced it with a standard plastic one (probably from autopro/repco/supercheap). They cost a couple of dollars for 5-10 of them. Drill it out and replace.
