New seats
I was thinking instead of getting a leather trim I can just put new seats in that fit universally.

Does anyone have experience with fitting seats like these above?

Re: New seats
Just so long as you realise, youll be making custom rails for them (or having to customise the FTO ones you have. Also be aware that there is a possibility they will fail rego also as modified rails are not technically legal.

Re: New seats
So they wont fit without making a bracket or something? It says this "These seats are designed from us which to be a universal fit. They do have universal adjustment bracket sliders on the seat frame." Makes it sound like they should fit

Re: New seats
Maybe..., but seat rails in different cars are not the same distance apart, so its not going to just bolt up. You may need to drill holes. At thevery least, willrequire adjustment. Youll probably find it changes the height also. In my experience, universal fit translates to doesnt fit well most of the time. For example, ive got recaro's my FTO.They come with a FTO specific rail system. I wouldnt assume its a 5 minute job to fit.

Re: New seats
You've gotta spend the money to get the quality, on the other hand, you've gotta make sure you're not being ripped off. It's a tough world
