Re: Hi Guys! New FTO owner.
Yeah, more and more FTO's seem to be going for The sub $4k range so you definitely did quite well considering how clean the car looks. However clutches are quite expensive so of course that means you'll end up spending a bit more, but if you take care of the clutch and transmission, she'll treat you right. Just try to avoid the roof rust and you'll be fine.

Around 1000 would be awesome. They might push it to 1200. All up the parts cost is less than 500, rest is labour.

OK guys.
Have got my new clutch installed but now my speedometer and odometer are not working. Have checked the sensor on the gearbox and its all plugged in OK. Any ideas?
Only asking cos the place where I got clutch done is a pain to get to. Cheers

Re: Hi Guys! New FTO owner.
Yep ^^^
That speedo sensor on the back of the box is what controls that. Checked it's plugged in ok, check there's no cuts or damage to the wiring. I've seen boxes removed & that plug forgotten about *stretch! SNAP*
Also check the earths. There's a small earth line that connects to the top of the box, just under the clutch slave line.
