Umm, yeah, I wouldn't be using a flexi pipe there.Scorpionwally8 wrote:No reason really just having a play arounddestinationtoby wrote:How come? Stock one looks a lot neaterScorpionwally8 wrote:Got rid of the stock air hose and replaced it with a multiflex hose 76mm
They have the tendency to split in the corrugations and you don't want air going in that isn't being filtered.
They're more suited for running air from the front bar to the air box.

Replaced the stepper/idle control valve, holy sh*t what a world of difference! The car used to idle at about 400rpm, often dipping to 100-0 and cutting out. Now it idles at about 1000rpm smoothly.
Rubber gasket was a bit stretched and took a lot of gentle pushing to fit, longest part of the whole thing

Took it (the starlet) on a gravel hill climb.
Video, skip to 40 odd seconds.
Got 1st in my class!
I was the only person in my class...
But, because I was first in my class, I got the full 25 points in the championship, so I have the same number of points as the person who got the best time of the day!
