He hit Adelaide around 6pm and kept going as he wanted to be clear in the morning. Think hes spending the night either in his car or popup tent at a rest stop near Port wakefield?

He could have stayed at my place for the night, I'm at Port Pirie, 1hr past Port Wakefield.

I should have let you know in advance that he was coming through and sorted it, cheers though mate.
He passed Redhill at about 7:30 this morning.

Yes indeed, and after the amount of time we spent checking everything else it would have ended up being the quickest thing!Bennoz wrote:The old timing chestnut... It's always the last thing you check, because it's the biggest **** to fix!

Car handled the drive just fine despite clipping a small kangaroo near Kalgoorlie no damage.

Yeah highway, he set off too early one morning (4.45) and i'd been telling him to wait a little until the trucks had cleared the way.bjk wrote:Drive and a half that! Good road test though, for sure. Close call on the roo, was he on the highway?

Luckier miss then for both him and the roo! I know my FTO held up pretty well even running into one almost full on. Only was going about 70-80kph though.Rob Furniss wrote:Yeah highway, he set off too early one morning (4.45) and i'd been telling him to wait a little until the trucks had cleared the way.bjk wrote:Drive and a half that!
