The shape is somewhat reminiscent of the FTO body.

OMG 3.8L V6 MIVEC, I hope they going put the same engine into the new Magna replacement Galent. Its suppose to have the 3.8L V6 too.

Anyone planning to get the engine from the state by any chance??? hehehee

Thats a large capacity engine in quite a small car.

Reminds me of the 350Z from some angles - I assume it's still FWD?

That looks nice! BUT it doesn't redline at 8K! :?
I think this eclipse is not really a light weigh car, like the FTO, and Type-R...

But what it looses in weight, it makes it up with 3.8L V6...

Wasn't there an article a little while back which said that the Eclipse was going to be a petrol/electric hybrid? Or was that just a concept car?

Saa-Weet!

I wonder if there will be a version with the steering wheel on the correct side of the car ;)

I wouldn't be too hopeful, given that all previous models were LHD only. Shame really.

One of the few Japanese performance cars that we don't get here...

3.8L is a rather large increase in displacement from the previous models.

We miss out lots of good cars because we have a very small consumer market (population), so is not justify for any car makers to bring them in, therefore we just have to stick with the cost effective & cheap quality local made stuff.
