You also may be able to buy ...

But not available everywhere, as people only tend to use the black tint...

I was wondering about this today actually, is it bad for tyres to leave a car sitting for to long? Mines been parked for a few months now.PHIL069 wrote:Did you have flat spots on your tyres?Supplanter wrote:Drove it. For the first time in two months. To the car wash. To wash the bonfire ash off it.

Re: What work did you do on your car today?
Restored a Project F lens.
Need to go back and redo 1500 and 2000 as I rushed through them and I just did a light buff with Scratch X
But overall I'd say it's an improvement.
Still has a slightly yellow tinge but not that noticeable.
And the one I restored was worse off than that other one in the pic to begin with. Someone had used superglue to stick it back on and had runs going down it.
Started off with 180 grit and went through to 2000.
Even at 180 it was a pain removing the yellow tinge and sun cracks in the surface. I didn't even remove them all.

If there is enough interest, I will look into having copies of the lenses made, as well as making moulds for the Project F lights.
I will be making circular LED boards for them.

Lol, f*cken project Fs. I've said it before & I'll say it again, get the lenses down to an injection moulder for reproduction.
Will be quite happy to eat my hat when someone actually gets a restored set put in their car & actually look good!
