I think this would be the 3rd time now?
Still has a lot of webbing in the fibreglass showing through the paint
Not sure if it'll show through a proper paint job though.

So I got my exhaust done last week, but it's far too loud, so it's going back tomorrow to be changed again.
It's currently got the headers and Y pip, and then straight through to the rear, where it splits off to two sections, each with a small resonator.
Tomorrow two more resonators are being added in to the middle.

Another muffler was put in, in the middle just behind the flange to the Y pipe, sound a lot deeper now, and significantly less rasp, happy days!

Good stuff, first one had way too much rasp for my liking. When I made my system, I only had the two rear mufflers, was way too loud and raspy.

Then I added a large resonator just after the cat, still too loud and a bit of rasp, then I added another hot dog just before the axle and it was perfect.

Now that I've got the turbo on its even quieter. :lol:

Three 2.5" hotdog resonators is all that's in it.

This is Nick's, which has the exact same rear section as mine.



So mine's + 2.5" through the body with one more of those resonators in the middle.

Picked up a White GPVR spoiler for cheap and threw that one, not sure if I'll keep it on.
I'll probably switch between this one and the CF one. Also threw in a Short shifter

I remember when you first posted this pic, and I was like "oooh"

Oil cooler fitted, and filter relocated.
We used a 90* filter adaptor off of a BMW 525I to fit the adaptor behind the manifold (since I'm running a rear manifold on the front).
That adaptor is leaking a little, so I'm ordering a seal kit for it.





I'm also thinking the cooler is too efficient, so I may actually cover it up for a while, until I can get a thermostat for it.

So... I killed it..

A lack of attention when replacing the seal in the Oil filter relocation plate meant I plumbed it backwards and ran the head dry :upset:

So it's been parked up for the last couple of months while I work on the replacement and a few other bits for it.

So the plan now is to replace the engine with a 6A13TT, and ditch the twin turbos in place for a single.

A year or so ago, I scored a VR4 Legnum for the bargain price of $700 which has been sitting around ever since then, so out comes the Engine:



And then of course, you need the turbo charger.

For this, I chose a TD05HR twin scroll off of an EVO6, for the bargain price of $150, this will be sent off for a rebuild before being spun up.



With all that power, will require better stopping abilities, so in comes the 4 Pot brakes and hubs from a GTO:



And finally, as I've never been able to get a perfect alignment since lowering it, adjustable camber and toe arms. None of this stance camber crap going on in this car:



And to finish of this update, here is how it sits for now, until I have the time to pull the old engine out, which may be a while as a mate just blew his piston rings in his WRX, so all our time is going to that for now.

How come you went for the Evo 6 turbo? Is it not on the small side considering it came from a 2.0L and you'll be using it on a 2.5L?

Easily available I guess. I kind of want something to spool quite quickly though, as I don't need top speed...
But we'll see what happens I guess.
