engine swap questions

So I know absolutely nothing about engines. I am thinking of doing a engine swap mainly because my engine at the moment is making noises that make it seem like tappets and it is overheating when you drive for long distances even though I just got a new radiator with coolants etc.

My question is does a gpx mivec engine fit into gp car? If the engine is from an automatic car do I need to do a manual conversion for my manual car?

Engine is exactly the same between GPX/GP and Auto/Manual. The bits thatbolton the backon the gearbox side are different, but just use the ones off your existing engine.

Im not sure im afraid. I think that will vary wildly depending on the workshop.
