FS: Emanage Blue

Post by Bennoz »

As per the topic, have an Emanage Blue for sale.

Came out of my old man's turbo Patrol. Bought new in 2011 for $650 (still have receipt) it's only done about 12 months service.

Comes with box, all manuals & the extra injector harness. The only thing missing is the CD with the software on it - which can be downloaded from here anyway: http://www.greddy.com/tech-support/e-manage/

Looking for $300. Will post at buyers expense.

For someone who will never turbo his car, or run bigger injectors...just want to tune the car to run it properly making full use of the 98 octane fuel I put in, would the Blue be fine for me? And I will never do track days.
Something like what Dwayne and Aza has got (they have Haltechs Interceptors).

From what I gathered, Greddy Ultimate and Haltech Platinum is really useful for people who wants to turbo their car or do track days?

I'll still organize and negotiate a price with them just for you Daniel :) I guess I will convince Bennoz to make me a Group Buy mod :D

Also Bennoz, was the Blue too complex to get tuned by local shops?

Blue is fine and easily tuned once used to it, I run it with my turbo no issues only down side is no cold start feature but runs it great with room to spare

Thanks mate. :)
No cold start feature... i don't have any problem with cold start currently... does this make me go a step back..or it just doesn't have the feature to improve cold starts for people with that problem? Since this one comes with injector harness that's bonus for me :)

The only other alternative I had in mind was Haltech Interceptor...but they are hard to find these days. I liked the fact that you can connect a laptop to it directly.

I think I will give a call around the tuning shops here and see if they are confident to tune the emanage. If they f**k up...then hell will break loose :)

Cheers.

That would be my first step. Find a garage that can install & tune it.

Na just means with tune like I have to allow for larger injectors etc no cold start feature wouldn't be an issue for you.

Relativly easy. Really need injector and ignition harness to make full use. Also need old laptop running windows xp or 98 it wont read later versions

I have an emanage blue and like it, the software is a bit quirky but you get used to it and it does enough for the price.
If you get a boomslang harness instead of the greddy ones it's plug and play no cutting of wires at all.
And you can run it on windows 7 and via usb if you get a cable and software from gifftech.

N/A fto's should be able to gain a few ponies (or killer wasps) by leaning the fuel out a little and add a little ignition timing if you run it on 98, you will need a wideband uego sensor and afr gauge (something like an AEM) or rolling road to set it up but I like having the wideband in the car all the time to keep an eye on things.

Should be all downloadable off the net. My Ultimate never had a disc, and I'm pretty sure the Blue's software is on the same page as where I got mine
