Hi there, just a few quick questions
Are GR tappets adjustable? (My tappets are noisy)
If not, would an oil flush and changing to a thinner oil fix or help the tappeting problem?

No they aren't, need to be replaced.

And generally thicker oil will mask it. But don't do that FFS

Try a different brand of oil.

No and No.

You have hydraulic tappets.
A flush might help, but unlikely.
Thinner or thicker oil is not a fix.
You need to take them out and replace or attempt to clean them by soaking them in a solvent.

What oil is recommended?
This will be my first oil change after buying the car so I don't know what oil was put in previously

Shell Helix HX7 or equivalent.
