Evo Engine Mount Inserts
Hey everyone I recently bought 4 new engine mount inserts for my fto.. The evo ones bennoz gave links to in a farely old thread and took them to my mechanic to have them fitted.. He called me yesterday and said they don't fit.. Apparently they're too small and just go straight through.. Especially the top engine mount.. Has this happened to anyone else?? Or have I bought the wrong ones?? Or is my mechanic just not very fto orientated lol

Where did you purchase them from?

The lower mounts are FTO compatible. The left side and gearbox are not.

Also, prefacelift and facelift drivers side mounts are different. Prefacelift actually have the ralliart insert. Same part number on the bush.
Facelift are a larger insert.
All other mounts are the same.

Re: Evo Engine Mount Inserts
Ahh ok this could be the problem then.. I bought them from Meek.. I got 3 hs90 and 1 hs70 insert from an old link you provided bennoz (Still a top quality link for parts
I could try and find part numbers.. But I've got a 97 gx facelift so this could be why the mount inserts are too small.. Anyone got a link for the right size for a facelift?? Lol looks like I need 4 new inserts..

Re: Evo Engine Mount Inserts
Ok so it looks like I definitely went full retard and ordered the wrong size inserts.. I need 2 Upper (Left/Right) Engine Mounts and they have to be larger to fit my manual facelift 97 gx.. I would really love Ralliart ones to match my Lower but I guess stock will do for now.. Anyone know where I can get these babies? I think Meek only have the smaller prefacelift ones..

Re: Evo Engine Mount Inserts
there aren't any larger ralliart ones. Buy a prefacelift mount and press the one you have into it.
BTW. The two upper inserts are the same.
