Well at first the plan was to have a full rspray done in 2k, previouse paint was acrylic so I was going to remove all layers.
Now it's just getting plastic dipped matt black, so it didn't have to be sanded and primed at all lol but at least now it will be ready for a paint in the future if need be.
The dip is supposed to last 5 years, and is a hell of a lot cheaper. A friend is starting his own business, the fto will be one his first cars so we are only paying for material costs $500
And cheers

Re: destinationtoby's GPX
No probs man .. Let's hope it all works out.. $500 is a great price to be a Guinea pig.. I plasti dipped out of a can, and it turned out OK.. But would love to have a crack at using the propper gear.. Am interested to see the durability of it as well.destinationtoby wrote:rock_it wrote:Should have just tinted the primer... Re: destinationtoby's GPX
Asked the younger brother to bolt some pipes back on, simple right :/
Then found this little sucker that he forgot.
For those that aren't on Facebook... I blew up the starter motor and am waiting on a new one. Getting close !
