will need an amp somehow/somewhere?

Re: tablet
I've got one, and so does vectose, they're awesome, takes a little massaging to get it to fit, I originally had mine wired into a head unit's AUX port which was recessed behind the tablet, but I recently installed an amp and wired it direct to that.

Re: tablet
I have mine connected to a head unit behind the tablet, and an IR repeater in the air vent if I ever have to control the head unit for some reason.
I like having it wired through the head unit rather than wired to direct to amp as I like having the tuneability of the head unit. (I do have a rather expensive head unit though)
Best tablet to do it with is one that doesn't have any physical buttons on the front. I use a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2

Re: tablet
Yup, I used a Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 (original) and now have a 2012 Nexus 7.
I had a cheapo Sony head unit behind it originally, and it was really average...

Re: tablet
Guys
Would you mind posting a picture of the tab sitting on the middle console please? Cheers.

Re: tablet
Looks good! Any chance you're able to show the cabling/mounting behind it?Technikhaus wrote:Ignore my horrible voice, but here's a video if you like:
