Coolant capacity

Post by andy »

Does anyone know how much water there is in a GPX? Now I'm in the UK I've got to think about anti-freeze!!!! My poor FTO has never been so cold (or wet).

when i fitted my new engine my complete cooling system had been drained then flushed then blew all the remaining water out of the radiator and heater matrix using compressed air, i used aproxamately 8 ltr of toyota red coolant to refill my system with a 6A13 so payaya would be very close at 7 Ltr for the 6A12

I think pretty much all of them are the same, just don't mix any together, and use distilled water if possible. Also, if changing cooolant you may as well do a complete coolant flush.
