Cracked air filter ducting.

I've noticed that there is a very noticeable crack, opening in the piping connecting to the stock air box. The split is down near the front grill and exposed to incoming air. Would this effect the way the engine runs/ be a problem?

That crack is before the air gets to the filter, so it won't be a problem.
If anything it is going to allow moar cold air into the system....CAI....FTW :D

If you must replace, I have them, but as the others said, it wont make any difference.
