Does that mean the committee is duplicating the power to the coppers or is the committee still maintaining the power of the copper & also who does have the final say? The committee or the copper?

perhaps you should review what you post and consider whether or not it is going to be received the way it was intended...FTOluv wrote:yeah, my posts get deleted so quick that even Steve doesnt get a chance to read them
And then if it is written that way should ensure if conforms to our terms and conditions of use of this site that i recently emailed you.

People are different and therefore each person can take a post differently. Does that mean anyone that has taken my posts the wrong way be allowed to complain about it??
btw Steve, i never log on these forums to intentionally flame people on becuz its a waste of my time. I only say something when my comments are being criticised by someone that has less knowledge and credentials in that field.
Everyone sees that i hardly ever post in the 'Styling' or 'Performance' forums as I know my knowledge in those topics arent that great. I mostly post in the ICE forums because of the knowledge and credentials I have in that area.

That's a lot of moderators for a relativly small forum.
Maybe if we become all moderators we can delete each others bad messages
:lol::lol:
One small suggestion, maybe you should change "FTO Coppers" to "IMC". that's just my opinion, as FTO Coppers sounds a bit childish, as if we are in primary school, with Yr. 6 students patrolling the Yr. 2 students.

Boris I had the same thought as well.......
I've also had another question, why do we need one from each state? Are they going to do some home visit???
I'm looking at this like what politician do in the parliament, upper house, lower house, by the time you want to put a bill through, it would be a fair while, & by then the original point that people want to bring up had became irrelevant as its already outdated itself or as most politician would like "people will lose interest after a while".

What was the purpose of the interstate visit, & what outcome did you get from the state you visited, & what sort of outcome would the committee expected from the future interstate visit?
I know I ask lots of questions, but I just want a clearer picture of the club, or maybe is a working habit being an area manager for a finance company for a long time.

Just a question, wouldnt it get a bit messy if one IMC disagrees with a 'lock' or 'deletion' of someones post?
As Boris/Kev said, the more people there is to have authority to delete/move and lock posts/threads the more messier the situation will become.
Giving the authority to each state co-ordinator is sufficient for moderating the forums becuz if u take away that exclusitivity from them then what role do they have besides organising cruises and meets?

Sorry, just another question to try and clear things up.
Eg. If I post something in which (for eg.) Dr Jones doesnt approve can he then lock/delete the post? or does he first get permission to then delete/lock it?
also,
if it is locked and (for eg.) Supplanter reckons the post was ok, then does he need to go back to the commitee to allow it back online?
sorry, it just seems that it might get a bit complicated.

I would think it will be best if we have contact information such as atleast 2 phone numbers for each moderator. As moderator decision will need to be made quickly instead of PM's.Just a question, wouldnt it get a bit messy if one IMC disagrees with a 'lock' or 'deletion' of someones post?
So let me get this straigh, Dr_Jones sees an evil thread, and wants to delete it, does he call Supplanter to double check with him for example or does he delete it? he has to double check correct ?
Are the moderators allowed to move and organise threads, if they are in the wrong locations? Or add say guides into the TWG section?
How does this all relate to the TWG btw? Are we moderators for that section aswell? So like i was asking before, are we able to add/compile stuff into the TWG section? For example.

It's not about me approving or disaproving anything it's about what is right for the forums. The only thing I will delete on a personal level is anything that attacks myself. But that wouldn't happen.FTOluv wrote:Sorry, just another question to try and clear things up.
