I wanted to spend some money...so I bought another car jack.
Buzz of el-cheapo supercheap 1.4 tonne jack... make way for $450 Omega Magiclift 3 tonne rebuild-able jack. Low profile enough to fit under the FTO, goes high enough to lift my Challenger.
Weighs close to only 60 kgs

Holy sh*t!
Am coming to your house, now that I know exactly where you live!
How much did it cost with installation?

Did Bennoz really get a hoist?
Also OP, I saw at CostCo a $160 from memory which seemed pretty good for the money

Yeah a lot of guys on whirlpool have been raving about the costco one. Gold Coast has no Costcos yet
My choices were armstrong, liftech or omega. Omega seems to have quite a good reputation in the States for its low profile and long reach body.

I love how people come on here to boast about stuff, then Ben casually walks in and not only bests them but does his besting to the extreme
There are two types of people on forums; those that give helpful advice, and the others

I was looking at this as an option for my place...
The cheapest I could find was at a place in WA ... The Hoist was sold as a car stacker... About 3.5k delivered...
But my roof is pretty low in the garage... So not sure if I could actually get two cars in ... But worth the money ... Only problem is wife went mad on furniture.. So spent all the cash ... And I still have to do the upgrades on the Evo/GSR ... :'(
I just had to add it ......

Yeah I got similar quotes as well ranging between 2.8 to 3.5 and is a car stacker than a workshop hoist.
I propose half yearly bonfire at Bennoz's

Now I can just take a 45 min drive down to Ben's with a case of Boags whenever I need to work on my car.
