I'm just going to bring a pillow and a heap of alcohol so I don't realise how cold or hard the ground is

So you are going to sleep on the ground drunk for 4 nights straight?ObsidianRadio wrote:I'm just going to bring a pillow and a heap of alcohol so I don't realise how cold or hard the ground is
At least you won't feel the 1000's of leaches sucking your blood, but it is going to be a great .gif creation when you attempt to burn them all off.

Unfortunately, hell be pretty safe from leeches close to the fire. Just wait until he is comatose and drag him down the hill.

Although he has a GR. So we can get him plastered enough to convince him limiter bashing on a cold start will fix it and he will fall face first halfway down the hill to his car and sleep there.
I fix cars.

I don't know if I have the motivation to buy a mattress, haha. Will probably just load up with a bunch of quilts. Have to keep the spoiler from Ruby that I'm taking in tact too. And checked my roster and the leave is showing up so I won't have to hassle anyone yay.

So, I need to find camping grounds for 2 tents, 2 people and 2 FTO's.
Then I need to find 1 gutter for jack to sleep in and 1 coles carpark for bjk.
I will look tomorrow.

Hahaha. I'll be going out and buying a tent tomorrow, then set it up, then have a roman toga orgy in it then pull it down again. Just so it's ready for the trip and I know how to assemble it. Worst case scenario i'll bring my army hutchie

Re: Cruise to Bonfire 2014
I have found some accommodation spots for the trip.
Slight changes in our overnight stops.
Adelaide/Port Pirie-Renmark-Gundagai-Batemans Bay.
Ex Adelaide
https://maps.google.com.au/maps?saddr=a ... mra=ls&z=7
Ex Port Pirie
https://maps.google.com.au/maps?saddr=P ... mra=ls&z=7
Night 1 - Riverbend Caravan Park, 101 Sturt Highway Renmark SA 5341 (08) 8595 5131
http://www.riverbendrenmark.com.au/
Unpowered tent site - $30 (1 tent/2 people) = $15ea
Powered tent site -$37 (1 tent/2 people) = $18.50ea
Night 2 - Gundagai River Caravan Park, Middleton Drive, Gundagai NSW 2722 (02) 6944 1702
http://www.gundagairivercaravanpark.com ... -park.html
Unpowered tent site - $25 (1 tent/2 people) = $12.50ea
Powered tent site -$28 (1 tent/2 people) = $14.00ea
Night 3 - Bonfire
Night 4 - Hay Caravan Park, Sturt Highway, HAY NSW 2711 (02) 6993 1415
http://www.haycp.com.au/11681/Home/
Unpowered tent site - $20 (1 tent/2 people) = $10.00ea
Powered tent site - $29 (1 tent/2 people) = $14.50ea
Cabin Non-onsuite - $84 (4 people) = $21ea
Whether you decide to sleep in the tent, on the ground or in the car, you will still need to pay your share!
I need to know ASAP if this is suitable and if you guys want unpowered/powered/cabin so I can book before the sites are gone!!
I will have to pay on booking as we might be getting to these places after office hours, you guys will then have to pay me!!!
I have also planned fuel stops, Caltex 98, Renmark/Hay/Wagga Wagga/Batemans Bay
EDIT: I can find cabins for night 1 and 2, but it would be approx $40-$50ea.

Re: Cruise to Bonfire 2014
I'm thinking powered site for my tent, simply because I can charge phone, cameras, laptop, UHF radios etc.. Not really keen on paying more than I have to thus cabins are out for me.

Happy to go with powered sites for reasons kiz mentioned. Almost forgot about phone charging, lol. Let me know what the final bill is!
