How big is your tent?
How many people can it hold? Just thinking if I need to get another tent possibly? Otherwise i'll bring my army hutchie and sleep under that

Re: Cruise to Bonfire 2014
I only have a small cheap Kmart 3 man tent, which would really only fit 2 single air mattresses.
I don't mind sharing my tent, but they are only cheap to buy.
If we can work out how big/small all the tents would be, we may only need to occupy 1 - 2 camping spot/s.
I guess it would be up to the camping ground/caravan park.
List time...
Phil = small 3 man tent

+ we will all need UHF radios to talk to each other.
I'm thinking of buying a GME 5watt hand held.
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/171083280250 ... 1423.l2649
So I might have my $30 elcheapo spare for someone, but it's pretty crap.

These or a very similar model
But I'd need to charge them at dwaynes or Melbourne if needed

I'm not sure if I can be bothered with a tent, haha. Might just bring a bunch of blankets and sleep in the car.

Re: Cruise to Bonfire 2014
FTO's are pretty comfy to sleep in ... Have done it a few years myself... But, it can get cold... So make sure you have a warm sleeping bag, or good quality blankets...bjk wrote:I'm not sure if I can be bothered with a tent, haha. Might just bring a bunch of blankets and sleep in the car.

Re: Cruise to Bonfire 2014
I reckon that sleeping in a FTO 4 nights in a row will be a bit much.
It would cost you less than $50 for a tent and air mattress.
I have an electric pump for air mattresses.
Tents these days are so easy to set up too.
So go to Kmart and buy some comfort

this is the one I got from BCF(boating / camping / fishing) online @
http://www.bcf.com.au/online-store/prod ... 6697#Cross
$99.99 plus $5.50 delivery to my place.
i have had mine for 9 months now and no problem. just make sure whichever you get that it takes AA batteries. then you can replace anytime. only 2 watts and gives me about 3 km range
more than enough range for our regular car runs in the MR2.

Re: Cruise to Bonfire 2014
Maybe I'll do a test night, haha. Just to see what it would be like. But a mattress is perhaps not a bad idea...
