Hurricane Extractors - Are they any good?
Thinking of buying a set cos my flexi joint is going and the exhaust noise is unbearable. $250 to fix flexi or $845 for Hurricane extractors to the cat + $200 fit.
What do you reckon? Worth it?

the actual store is not far from my house. Also, will the blue colour give me more power?

The RPW ones are Hurricanes. They are the exact same even down to the blue colour.
RPW buy in bulk from hurricane.
The polished finish on the RPW site is just showing their coating options.
They are also pretty easy to install yourself.

Should also mention the blue paint is just to protect them from rust on the shelf. If you install them as is, the paint will flake off and they will start to rust.
What I and a few others have done is strip the blue paint and paint them with VHT flameproof paint.

Re: Hurricane Extractors - Are they any good?
I've got them too, love them and love the sound you get, but I never coated mine, most of the blue paint blistered on the extractors within the first couple of mins. I remember the smoke coming from the engine bay and the dirty looks from other road users thinking my car was about to blow updstocks wrote:Yep, ive got them. Rate them.
