Re: Vic Cruise
Tip from an old timer (who used to be in Vic and was active in the MCCR cruise era).
If you're keen, step up to the plate and organise it.
Don't have to wait for everyone's to say yes or no, because I'm guessing this won't be a once off.
So if people miss this one, it's no biggy, there should be another one.
This weekend is AU long weekend, so it's prime timing for a short meet up in the morning (someplace central since you've got people from all over the shop) and cruise somewhere to have lunch (Maybe BBQ if it's not too hot).
Easier these days to goto google maps and print out directions from there to have a physical route map, we didn't have that in 2003 =P
It's probably short notice so you might not get a huge turnout, but even having a 3 - 4 cars is good enough =P
Since it's been a while, you'll probably want to keep it relatively short so people can get used to cruising together again and it's not tough logistically.
If I was still in Vic, I'd say meet up on Monday @ 10am @ Lonely Planet (http://goo.gl/NbFLXg - Some of you old timers might remember this place, Toni's got a FTOau Vic Chapter photo taken from here around somewhere), leave at 10:30am to cruise to a lunch destination (you've got 2 hours to get somewhere), have lunch, then head back to town before breaking off.
There's my suggestion, run with it =)
