Depending on the fuse, the fuse I had with my wiring kit was a cylindrical, one wire connects the fuse to the battery and enters one side of the cylinder, tightened by allen key and another wire, same concept of allen key, connects from fuse to amp. Keep the fuse kinda close to the battery, I have it near the firewall.

fuse can't be wrong way, either way is good.
Second one, connect to acc wire IS NOT BATTERY WIRE, if you connect it to battery wire your amp will be on 24/7 and flatten your battery.
You need to find a wire that has 12V running through it only with the key on, such as the yellow or red wire going into the back of the head unit. If you have a test light or multimeter you can test the wire by seeing if the test light turns on/off with the key.
If you have an aftermarket headunit it will have a remote wire to connect to the amp, more than likely it will be blue, but check your headunits manual.
Edit: Changed yellow to "yellow or red" I think it is the red wire

Just read the manual for my headunit anx I think I plugged the remote wire in wrong :S
