Better tie his leg to a tree... especially if it's been raining heavily or he'll end up in Batemans Bay lol

Nope. Weather should be perfect. Thats why I hold it in April. Starts cooling down at the start of March. By April, average temp during the day in the low 20's. Might pay to bring a jacket, but in the past we havent needed them.

Made the mistake of holding one in June once. All the Sydney mob complained about the cold

we join in the antics on lawso's third attempt to remove a leech by method of lighter (after the first two efforts netted a LOT of hair removal)

Dont lie on the grass on the creek flat where the cars are parked. The odd leech does appear down there, but generally only in the long grass off to the side. Ill be mowing the day before, which tends to do the trick, so should be fairly safe. Lawso has been the first real casualty. The first year when people camped down around the cars I think there was one or two seen at night, around the tents, but in the years since, not aware of any other than the one that got Lawso.

Shhhhh!! You shouldn't be disclosing all this info to Matt!! We could have convinced him to put up a tent beside the cars! :|
