I havent heard of too many problems of keying in sydney, i got a few small ones whne i had p plates, but i do not know who could have the heart (of lack of one) to scratch up some one else's pride and joy.
Setting up an area with descriptions of cuplrits is a great idea, even if we bring one guy to justice (through the law or vigilante) it would be great

Are people really that jealous or envious of our cars ????

That's shocking. 8O

Can't believe people would actually do that. No respect for other people's property at all. Hope you find the bastard/s.

Man. So sorry buddy.
Those photos are horrible. I've been so paranoid about getting keyed, it's not funny... :x

Wish you the best in the repairs, atleast you will get new paint.

By the time this incident happened I only had third party insurance from JustCars. So, my insurance does not cover any of the repairs. I have the full responsibility.

When I heard the quote $1500, I thought that is outrages, and I was only driving from home to work, both places have under cover car parks. Also, I rarely park my car outside places. So I took the risk and it didn’t pay off.

The best quote I got is from a shop at Plenty Road, after Bell St. Huge place, Last time I was there there were quite a few Jap cars getting complete resprayed. They asked for $3500 for everything (No masking) except the engine bay. Looks like they know the job very well.

    aaarrrrrrhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!

My third party insurance with JustCars almost due to expire, so I called them to renew it. Although it is only thirdparty, (so, I cant claim anything against vandalism) they refused to renew my contract, and asked me to fix the damage first.

Looks like I will have to fix the scrathes in early Feb next year.

Dude - do NOT stand for this!

Find that bastard and make him pay, plus extra for the pain.

Do as other's suggested - use the Lancer forums to hunt his butt down and make him pay for what he did.

Make sure the police, or whoever, keep that tape as evidence 'cos you'll need it if you find the guy.
