The factory one? not sure, I don't think mine has one, I guess if it becomes an issue, then unplug it.

Take out the factory one, then solder the red and green wires together and replace the cluster. Simple.

My SteelMate is wired to the door ecu.
This is easier as the door ecu is already wired to the actuators.
Then you don't need a master actuator in the drivers door either as the ecu is the master, so when you have to change out burnt actuators you can put a slave in the drivers door.
After market central locking kits come with 1 master(4 wires) and 3 slaves(2 wires).
I can have a look at my wiring and tell you exact colours and take a pic if you want.

Thanks Phil, but have it installed now. Mostly sahins knowledge as he removed an alarm from one car and installed it into another one in a matter of hours
