Well done. Did you have to change the engine, or was it justup forbelts etc and sort of a "while youre down there" type of thing?

Haha one in four million actually being a kiwi lol. All went very smoothly was great effort and done in very short time considering had to swap many bits from old motor to new incl cam sensor and mivec solenoids etc

And nothing wrong with current motor bar tappets and age. Difference inside heads was huge though very clean compared to old one

He got it from a jap supplier here no idea which car it came from. Pretty sure was a face lift model seeing as some bits were slightly different like heat sheilds on manifolds etc

Bjk would have to answer that but one would assume. Told him to take it easy for a while as need to change oil and coolant again in bout thousand km to clean out any old crap in new one as it had been sitting for some time

I can't entirely tell whether it's a placebo or not, haha. Definitely sounds 'tighter', the growl is a little different. But yeah, taking it a little easy for the moment. Reckon I need to get a wheel alignment on the front too I am assuming.

Vipfto mentioned it above. Just got it from this jap parts place. Although I heard later that he's dealt with the manager there before and he is a bit of an arse, but I didn't have to deal with him because he was ill.
