Look like a family car IMO im afraid so my comment still stands. And at 8K youd certainly be scraping the bottom of the barrel - likely be problems with it.

Actually, based on the figures below, with the exception of the SR20DET (which im assuming is the top of the line model) are either the same speed as the FTO (CA18DET) or slower than the FTO (SR20DE). Figure for FTO is 0-100 in 6.9 - 7.5 seconds (depending on source). And top of the line model is probably not going to be available at 8K. I have seen figures for 0-100 for FTO as low as 6.5 as well, but thinking this is possibly pushing it a little.

      Performance
      CA18DET SR20DE SR20DET
      0–100 km/h 6.9/7.5s (manual/automatic) (Europe) 7.7s 6.5s
      0-400m 14.9s(Best Motoring Tests) ? 17s 14.5s
      Max speed 180 km/h, electronically limited / 230 km/h(Europe)

Happy to be corrected - I know nothing about Nissans, so basing this on a very quick search

        Yup, Sr20DE is a 2.0 4 Cyl, SR20DET is the turbo version.

The Sr20DE is a lot slower than the FTO, my mate has one, and dragged Nick's GPX, it thrashed the S14....
