What is zee process of putting aftermarket pod inside a factory box? is it simple or do i have to mangle something? anyone lead me somewhere "As in a thread" Or can just tell me what i can do? apparently I've got reason to believe that you can still get a nicer mivec note out of it?
If it helps i've got a k&n panel in there, if there's no difference i wont bother.

Re: Sooo, Filters.
I recently replaced a hi flow pod (no box) with the k&n panel in the stock air box. Noticed absolutely no difference.

Just changing a filter will do nada. Change the intake pipe, get a cold air intake mod, isolate the cold intake air from the hot engine bay air.

You can cut a larger hole in the top cover, and it should be able to be made to fit, maybe...

Just shove a pod that fits in the standard air box. I've done it.
