Hello all, my name is Mik and I'm from Oldham, Manchester, UK.

I'm new to the FTO as I'm a classic Ford nut at heart.
However, I've got a '69 Hillman Imp Californian that I've owned for about 15 years and had plans to fit a V6 to it for years but have been unable to make a final decision on which to use. Then I found the Mivec. Its the noise you see, the engine has to rev.

So, I'll be picking your brains a bit about mods on the engine, hopefully one or two will have gone the same route as I'm going.

There is a quite a detailed thread on here somewhere covering fitting a mivec in to an elise. Not the same, but could provide inspiration.

The Elise thread was one of the first threads I read and is a great read. It stops though before the final build and no engine note vids

Gonna keep trawling through and get as much info as I can get.
