The only thing that worries me is that one of the spark plug leads doesn't quite sit properly in the rear bank. It doesn't go down as far as the other two.

It is the lead, not the spark plug hole but I have no idea as to why it won't go any further.. It should be OK as it is connected up with the spark plug fine but sits slightly high above the rocker cover.

Have tried other leads in that hole (lol) and they are fine and have tried that lead and it does the same thing in other holes (lol again).

Dude...

You need install of this.

Meanwhile, with regards to the spark plug lead.

Have you checked the seal along the bottom, could have become caught and won't now seal properly.
Had that issue with the chewed set of leads that were in the NX.

Install will be coming soon.. just need to get my flywheel machined and I think i'm just going to have to front up for a new clutch and it's right to go in.

Seal is fine, no different to the other ones. Little bit confused but it should be OK.

Undo tie rod ends and boot slips right on. If you count the number of turns you have to do to get each tierod end off, you should be able to get it approximately right when putting back on. You will need a wheel alignment.

If the gearbox is out, release bearing is pretty easy from memory. Just a matter of removing clip, slipping off old and replacing with new + a little grease (get someone to confirm this though as it has been a little while)

Yep slides straight on and off with that clip.. Best to pull off the arm behind it and clean then re grease the little part where it joins while your at it.
