Lightweight Flywheel
After some info - is it worth it, can it be done to a standard flywheel, how much will it cost, does it give any gains and where can I get it done?
Just asking out of curiosity more than anything.

The aluminium one would be lighter. It doesn't say it's weight though.Daniel2019 wrote:They're both the same weight as stock.

Yeah. The Fidanza website has the 96 2L Galant model as weighing 8 pounds. Thats roughly 3.6kg.

No it says the application is for a 6a12 with a 5.2kg stock flywheel. I'll email and ask.

Re: Lightweight Flywheel
In an aid to clear up the questions on weight
(A) The Aluminium Flywheel is 3.8kg
(B) The Steel Flywheel is 5.2kg
Not sure what the weight is (Off the top of my head) of the stock flywheel but its definitly in the 5 - 7kg range
Note these are not USA Galant flywheels. Galants in the USA are equivalent to our Australian Magna vehicles with the 6G72/74 engines.

Re: Lightweight Flywheel
