Hey guys,
I just recently got a re-con alternator and new battery fitted with 12 months and 2 years warranty respectively.
My mechanic charged me $500 all up.
Is the price cheap, normal or overpriced?
Thanks for the feedback

Given how much of a pain they are to fit (its not a 5 minute job), id say that isnt a bad price actually. You are probably looking at 2-3 hours labour to get it out and back in, so you certainly havent been ripped off.

Yeah, that's pretty reasonable. Where is your mechanic?

He is in Coburg. A friend recommended him to me and so far he has never let me down.
