The First post...
see heres the thing... i was gonna make a FTO forum standalone for nz... but then all the regular mitsubishi clubs only have 1 or 2 members with FTO's anyway.
so.
If your from NZ and have an FTO please post yor name etc on here so we can get the ball rolling on a NZ section, ive seen plenty of FTO's driving round and ive placed many a weblink on a windscreen for fto australia.
i base this on the fact that nz is basically parrallel to aus in the way of cars/prices/suppliers etc and all the info contained in this club would more thanks benefit any NZ member with an FTO let alone would take a sh*t load of time to recreate on another forum...
so all the help you could ever want is contained in this tiny little url called ftoaustralia.com
if we have enough NZ members showing themselves we maybe able to form some sort of cruise, even if we would have to drive 500k to meet up.
In anycase, it would be good to meet more like minded FTOers here and exchange info...
HAMISH! i expect [FTOPWR] to be apart of this!!!
I will be posting links here on various nz car forums.
Cheers steve for the forum

Here I am too!
I have just today moved from the dark side of forced induction to FTO ownership. I've always loved them, and am now pretty happy to have one. Going to be a bit of a change from a big old twin turbo VR-4, but it should be all good!
The 'other Australian state' huh?

I'd say he probably did the retrim himself. And if its anything like EVLGSR, then it will be very nice indeed
If you need somewhere to host pics, I can probably do it for you...
Anyway, about my car:
97 FTO GP Version R
White
5spd manual
Usual GPvR features (LSD, front/rear strut braces, 'pretty' seats, large rear wing)
Veilside front bar and skirts
17" Oz Racing wheels
HKS muffler
Otherwise standard
I'll post some pics as soon as I get around to taking some ...

They bloody well better be! My insurance company is now fighting it out with his, and we're confident that he will have to pay...
Not going to be easy to find a replacement Veilside bumper though ... and since it's Christmas, I'm not getting the car back for a month

Not that hard to find a VS bumper in NZ. Everyone here is selling VS Bumper only.. take me a while to find my Boss speed bumper.....
But if you are looking for a genue VS bumper.. that will be hard and costly...
and by the way need to find a good quality VS bumper.. I heard that they are hard to fit.
