genuine mits waterpump vs jap brand waterpump

Post by fto617 »

hey guys i'm thinking of replacing my water pump
why is tehre such a big difference in price?
kempy's offers a jap brand spanking new one for 70NZ
and the genuine mits for 270 something
is there performence differnce to reflect the price?
maybe on durability?

the cost of replacing one should the aftermarket break would easily outweigh the savings....

at the same time its really upto you.... i seriously doubt there would be any performance difference

this has been discuss before !
if ruchi was here ...hmm lol
anywayz
usually people replace their waterpump when they have their major service (i.e 100000km service)
but mostly people replace it when it leaks or cracks

you only need to replace it if it starts to leak...

its pretty obvious as there is green residue coming out of it...
