You're the best, but I was only joking

I will probably just hire a car :D

I have been using family cars to deliver, I barely drive smurfy because she still overheats. Changing ECU tomorrow and radiator of that doesn't work. So won't make a difference, you're welcome to take her.
I fix cars.

Daniel, I have paid Shane for the tail lights so you can organise to pick them up for me please. :D

I have also ordered you a present, I will give it to you in person when I see you.
I will drop into your place on the Friday before I fly out.
I will give you a time when my flights are confirmed, I would say mid morning.

Is it a new job? :D (not a euphemism :(D): )

You didn't have to do that

And yes I'll organise to pick them up. Probably next weekend or something.

Thanks Schumie but I have a spare rad here. What was wrong with it?
I fix cars.

I'm trying to choose my hire car for my trip to Sydney.

1. Toyota 86 = $273
2. BMW 118i = $239
3. Holden Cruize = $190
4. Toyota Corolla = $170

Prices for the whole trip.

Which should I pick???

I dunno, it will only have my name on the rental agreement.
I can defenately take you for a drive in it :D

Technikhaus wrote:Yay! Make sure to tell us what it's like compared to the FTO!
Will do, I will be driving a min of 350km distance in it. So I should be able to get a good feel for a comparison.

I had a great trip to Sydney for the awards.
The Toyota 86 was a very nice, comfortable and fast car, I will start another thread on the pluses and minuses.
I received my award which came with a JBS (Blackwoods) 66 piece socket set as a prize.
I got to spend time with my 2 sons that stayed behind when we moved to SA.
I went to Darling Harbours Sydney Maritime Museum on Thursday night for the opening of the Viking Exhibition with my parents.
http://www.sbs.com.au/news/video/486139 ... ng-Harbour
It was by invitation only, included a viking ship rowed to shore by vikings and a re-enactment of a Viking/Saxon battle. All food and drinks were free, I drank a lot of the free beer which was "Viking" beer imported from Iceland. The food was Viking themed, so lots of cheeses, bread, BBQ'd pork/beef/chicken, swedish sausages and meatballs, giant pots of soup etc.
One of the Vikings got me to put on his solid metal helmet, drew his sword and striked me on the head several times, then put the helmet on my mums head and striked her several times
I went to daniels place for a couple of hours and let him take the 86 for a run. Issued daniel with some presents.
I got to meet up with the Adelaide members on the way home too.
