Tyre Placard?

Post by Dr_Jones »

Hi, I have discovered recently that I don't have a tyre placard anywhere on the car? Does anyone know where I could get one?

What is a Tyre placard?

Is it that plastic thing, that goes in the arches of the wheels?

No that would be the guard lining, I was talking about the sticker with all the tyre information on it, normally found inside the drivers door or the glovebox maybe.

I'd imagine the tyre-placard information would be in one of the manuals.

Did you physically want the sticker, or just require the info off it?

If you're after the latter, I can easily grab that info from my car and pass it on

I recently read in the "Letters" section of an issue of HPI and a guy was asking the same question.

The reply was that his best bet was to try the place where the car was complied in order to get the placard. Maybe you could give that a shot.
