Box (may as well do the clutch)woot woot wrote:How hard to do it? How much monies will i needs and will i burn the car instead
Pedals (make sure you get entire bracket)
Brake booster
Are you doing it yourself?
When you start weighing prices.. Maybe about $400 for clutch.. Maybe $500 for box. Second hand brake booster (I would rebuild it) maybe $150.. And just throw in $100 for clutch pedal.. So over 1k there.
Then if you do labour on top.. Bit of drilling.. Overriding the inhibitor switch on the auto car.. Taking apart all the trim.. Don't think you would find a mechanic to do that for under $500..
All depends on parts.
Dstocks could look after you there (I am just parts price guessing), but you would have to freight from Batemans Bay..
I just had to add it ......

And I am getting it done, slowly and progressively, on my own, with zero experience. So lay off dickhead

I know it's your first time and you are inexperienced. Keep at it and you'll get done eventually.

Re: Auto to manuel???
yeah basically day job. if know what doing
will need
-manual box
-flywheel
-clutch
-master and slave cylinders and line
-clutch pedal and brake pedal (clutch must be complete with bracket)
correct driveshafts for box
-selector cables and shifter
-manual dash if you want to look factory
-holesaw for firewall clutch master hole
Pretty simple really just a little bit of wiring just to bypass nuetral safety switch and from memory reverse lights need a bit of easy rewire.
No need to rebuild brake booster unless yours is stuffed apart from driling master holes everything else is pretty much bolt on.
Oh also need new box oil and recommend doing cv boots at same time
