Drop links hitting strut.
My drop links were gone so I replaced them with new ones, identical to the last.
It has definitely improved the steering but the drop link on the drivers side smacks off the bottom of the strut when I go over bumps.
It only happens when the wheel is straight, if its turned a little it doesn't hit. It also did this before I replaced it.
I have replaced the sway bar bush on the drivers side but not the passengers side.
Am I right in assuming that the bush on the passengers side that is unchanged is enough to cause the sway bar to move over enough to hit the strut?
I have a gpvr so the drop link is in the suspension arm under the bottom of the strut.

I am 100% sure that the gpvr ones can only go one way. Can another gpvr owner verify please?

Re: Drop links hitting strut.
You mean the suspension assembly your control arm fixes onto not your strut?? If that's the case you will notice your sway bar is bent and you need to straighten it out or get a new one.
