Great work.
People should start swapping their V6 MIVECs for these SOHC 4 bangers the way you're going

Don't forget also, this is a lighter platform car.spetz wrote:Great work.

I'd like to see what a 6a12M Mirage could do on the 1/4 also.
Sure, it'd bump the weight up a bit, but would be interesting.

Re: supern0va's mirage with a 4g69
With the same mods I'd expect the times to be pretty similar.
Though I think the 2.4L would be cheaper to extract more power from considering it only has 1 camshaft and also has an additional 400cc

Why is a big cone stuck on the end of a pipe called a Velocity Stack? lol.
But pretty impressive to get a 13 sec pass, you must be good at launches etc.

Re: supern0va's mirage with a 4g69
The problem that a lot of FTO owners will see with doing a 4G69 conversion is that even if it turns out faster than a 6A12 it will still be considered as a downgrade.
A smooth DOHC V6 with variable valve timing and lift that revs past 8,000 rpm while sounding as good as a Ferrari is a hard thing to pass up.
Though with the CE range I think this is a perfect swap. If I was doing a conversion to either a Mirage or Lancer and wanted to stay NA then 100% I would opt for the 4G69

Great effort there.
Did the suspension mods drop your 60ft time by much?

Re: supern0va's mirage with a 4g69 - July Update!
That's awesome.
Love the effort, and the car looks tops.
Well done on a fantastic result, and winning round 5.
I take it there are now more mods in the words to shift up the chart a bit more?
