Suggest me a Muffler
So, it's almost time to say farewell to my little ole Xforce Cannon that came with the car when i bought it,
Are there any particular brands out there that you would pick? or Recommend the one your using currently?
I find it difficult to explain the sound i'm chasing, i think i would be happy with what ever i get. I just would like a "smooth sound" that's deep and throaty.
Is there any specific terms i could use when i drop into the exhaust shop? Do i just say "deep and throaty" and pray i get a muffler

I know this may be weird but i use a flowmaster 40 from a v8 going into twin 2.5" tips. It actually sounds really good IMHO, gives it that deep throaty sound all through the rev range (think mivec sound but low rev and not as loud) not like the tin can rattle of a cannon (not hatting on cannons their just high pitched IMO)

is there a way to use a muffler of theirs like the stock exhaust, or would it need to be angled?Bennoz wrote:I recommend x-force stuff. Good quality.

Re: Suggest me a Muffler
Were you using that Magnaflow on the dyno video? I could probably live with that sound everyday.
I think i will go for a varex, just because i drive through a lot of residential area's at 4-5am most mornings to get to work, and i always feel bad because I'm blearing exhaust into their house's

I always put mine on upside down so the whole P is displayed and only the speed limit is covered by the number plateVectose wrote: 3 P plates and not one of them completely visible.
