Hello, I'm new here, joined to find out more about the FTO again as I think I would like to perhaps get one in the not too distant future. I looked at a few in about 2009 but didn't end up getting one at that time, am re-visiting the idea again. Unfortunately, all the ones for sale atm here in SA are auto/tiptronic and in pretty nasty condition/need work as I don't want to bring one in from interstate. Thought I would say hi and introduce myself anyway though.

I noticed one of my fellow CJ lancer members is on these pages (Schumie). Didn't realise he had an FTO also
I previously had a modified ES CJ Lancer and following that an Evo X, however the costs of the Evo were extremely high between the loan repayments, fuel and insurance so unfortunately I had to sell. I'm now looking for something a bit sporty again and a bit more friendly to the budget these days and rediscovered my love for the FTO's curves, so here I am Incidently also, who's FTO is that that was/is (haven't been there in ages cause live north these days) that was always parked at the Marion Hotel?

Good to hear you've still got your CJ, I actually miss my ES (& the Evo but don't miss the cost of that!) The people I sold it to who bought it for their sons, the mother actually works with my other half. Small world. I asked the son who's now primarily driving it if he wanted to sell it back but he was like "no way!"

Prob just as well really, time for something new!

BTW: I LOVE your yellow COTY FTO (cause I love yellow)! Where did you manage to get that from?
