HeRo's GPvR
Haven't uploaded an update of my car for ages.
Since last pic,
- I've added Driftek 18"x9" with 235/45R
I did some minor styling changes to the original body as well.
- I've painted the outline of the rear lights black, to give the impression that the lights are thinner and slightly more aggresive.
- I've also modified the front bar by increasing the grill size by 1". I like the original facelift bar but it needed more aggression but still with some subtlety . originally I was going to buy the TS front bar from DStocks but decided not to because I wasn't fond of the lip thingy hanging off the sides and the cost of getting it over from NSW to here etc, cost/benefit analysis blah blah...
- Oh and I deleted the fog lights and added in a long ram intake pipe for my weapon-r intake
- I also shaved my stock air intake resonator so that it had a larger opening to get again, more air flow to the pod (did nothing to be honest)
- I also created brackets and stuck my number plates underneath the bar rather than over (personally think it looks neater)
As you can see, the front is a little matte, and that's because the clear coat was from a can rather than a compressor. this means i'll need some 1200-1500 grit sandpaper and will sand again before clear coating it again along with a cut and polish which i've booked in

This thread is relevant to my interests.
What offsets are you running? I can't see attached images, are you lowered at all?

well currently I've just got 8mm spacers on the car (235/45 is pretty fat) so they dont rub against the guards. I've got lowered HKS springs, but i think it's only lowered by a little bit...I dunno actually lol, never actually thought about it. I had to however, roll the guards to fit 18"s on.
Yeah I have actually. Just dunno where to get them. You have any? hahaAstron_Boy wrote:Nice!
Ever thought about getting the wings side stickers?

Re: HeRo's GPvR
I'll take a pic of the intake tmr. It is a tight squeeze and I'm thinking of relocating my battery to the boot at some point. The long ram isn't actually attached to the filter, it's just directed towards it.
The offset I think is something like 18x9 +22. Not 100% sure on the +22 part though :s

Re: HeRo's GPvR
Yeah for the fronts as well. I did but CF wheel arches/flares but they are bigger than I imagined (40mm) so my car looks retarded with them on until I get even fatter wheels. Might sell em
